| What's up with Jill Freberg Coyle: I have lived in Connecticut for the past 25 years. I married my college sweetheart, Jeff Coyle, in 1965, after graduating from UCSB. We have two daughters, Paige, 28, and Devon, 22. Paige has been married for nearly three years (to her college sweetheart, Kevin Best), teaches first grade, and is about to become a mommy. Zachary will be our first grandchild, and we are naturally thrilled. Devon has been married for nearly a year to a charming Scotsman she met while "studying" abroad when she was a Junior at Duke University. She graduated last May, and she and Steve Smart were married in June. Devon works for UBS Paine Webber. We always thought our girls the "Best" and "Smart" - cute eh? I have worked for Salomon Smith Barney for the past twelve years, and have been in the brokerage industry most of my working life, in one way or another. The group with which I am teamed here in Hartford manage the assets of high net worth individuals. I am responsible for most of the fixed-income business (municipal bonds, treasuries, agencies, and corporate bonds) for those managed accounts, plus various administrative duties. My husband is a remodeling contractor, and our newest son-in-law, Steve, has recently joined the family business to the delight of all. Look us up if you're ever in New England. We're only two hours from either Boston or New York City, and only five minutes from the Connecticut river, where we spend much of our summer leisure waterskiing or fishing. Jill F. Coyle |
