Comments: My wife, Mitsy (Chino HS '61) and I live in Sunnyvale, CA along with 3 cats--no children. We will celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary (August 6th) this year--guess I'd best come up with something really good so I get my year-to-year contract renewed. After BPHS I attended Cal Poly Pomona (where I met Mitsy), the Air Force for 4-years and then 17-years moving around the country with GTE--Claremont, CA to Stamford,CT to Marina del Ray, CA. During my time with GTE I managed to complete a business degree from U of Redlands in 1976. In 1980 I left GTE (got bored) and joined Rolm Corporation (Santa Clara, CA) and then moved to Chicago (1983) as a VP for Oneac Corp. After several very cold winters in Chicago I started PowerCET Corp. http://www.powercet.com and moved back to Northern California--been here ever since. I tell people I have four passions in life: Mitsy, snow skiing, tennis and my work--in that order! We spend 3 to 4-weeks a year skiing (Taos, NM), play in USTA tennis leagues year-round and my work takes up the remainder of the "free" time. The future...well, I love what I do and can't see that changing anytime soon. We are planning on building a second home in Taos, NM, but will keep our place here in N. Cal. To the members of the Reunion Committee I salute you. I remember working on an earlier reunion committee--the 10th, I think--and the problems we had finding people then. I can only imagine the challenge after 40-years. To my classmates I wish you all health, happiness and success in all that you do. Bruce |
