After high school I worked for Pac Bell and Burroughs Corp. After realizing there was no chance for advancement because of military obligations I enlisted in the U.S.Air Force in 1963.

After basic training I was trained in electonics and as an Atlas D ballistic missile analytic technician. I was in the final Alas D class and when I arrived in Cheyenne to start serving in our countries missle defense system, they started phasing out the Atlas D, E, and F missiles. I did help dimantle the Atlas D's in Cheyenne and even got to fly back to Norton Air Base with a missile in the belly of a C133 Transport.

After the phase out of the Atlas Missiles I was retrained in microwave radio relay and spent my final 2 years in the sevice in France, where Lian and I were able to tour some of Europe. After discharge from Air Force I started my career with IBM working as a customer engineer at the Jet Propulsion Labratoy and Cal Tech in Pasadena Ca. I was there for the moon landing and first landing on Mars. I was able to view the first pictures from Mars as they came in. During my time with IBM, I traveled to Chicago, New York, Washington D. C., Atlanta, and Los Angeles for training on several large main frame computer systems and I/O, including high speed 20,000 line per minute laser printers and high speed check sorters, and was an account customer engineer for several large corporations in the Los Angeles area. I also had the privilege of working at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles for IBM.

I retired from IBM in 1997 after 30 years. I am now working for BancTec maintaining and installing P C's at Locheed Martin and Raytheon. Lian Cady and I have been married for 36 years and have lived in San Dimas for the last 21 years. We have 4 sons, 2 married, 2 at home attending college and 3 grand daughters. Lian and I like to go camping and sailing with our family and friends, and are looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. We are hoping to retire in the next few years, when kids finish college, and do some traveling around the country.
